Rolling Shutters and Strip Ceilings Factory
Madar is firmly established as the pioneering company in the Syrian industry of colored aluminum rolling shutters.
Thanks are due to Madar for making this industry one the highly developed industrial activities in Syria.
Madar had the privilege for importing the first production line 20 years ago (in 1984) from one of the distinguished German companies in its field. Our production of colored aluminum shutters is currently achieved by our local expertise; this enabled Madar to stop importing aluminum shutters from abroad.
The production of this division (containing three production lines for rolling shutters, and one for strip ceilings) are manufactured according to the latest up-to-date technologies.
Rolling Shutters
The shutters slide through rails produced in our extrusion plant. These rails are supplied with inserted brushes that reduce sound levels, minimizie pollution, and prevent dust, wind and corrosion of aluminum slats. The slats are coated with polyamide paint that provides them with weatherproof and heat insulating properties. They have various widths {4 cm, 4.5 cm, 5 cm and 5.37 cm}.
The shutters have moderate weight and do not need great effort to be raised. They do not twist neither curve, and maintain their original shape and color over many decades. All necessary accessories are available according to the customer needs. The shutters have more than ten different colors.

The technical specifications of Madar aluminum shutters
These ceilings consist of powder coated or pre-painted coated aluminum components . Hence they are resistant to both atmospheric conditions and friction, and have very attractive appearance.
Strip ceilings have various colors (wooden brown, cream, golden red, white, etc.). The color can be chosen to be in optimal harmony with the furniture and decorations proposed by the customers.
The strip ceilings can be divided into three main categories:
- Narrow Luxalon ceiling (the width, together with the gasket, is 10 cm.)
- Broad Luxalon ceiling (the width, together with the gasket, is 20 cm.)
- Dumba ceiling (the width is 10 cm.)
